Alice Mae Rector, 91, died Thursday, April 10, 2014, at the Hiawatha Care Center. A graveside committal will take at 9 a.m. Friday, May 2, at Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery. A memorial service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, following the committal service at the Kenwood Park United Methodist Church with the Rev. Michael Metz officiating. A luncheon in Alice's memory will follow the memorial service. Visitation will be held from 4 to 6 p.m. Thursday at Cedar Memorial Park Funeral Home.
Memorial donations in Alice's name may be directed to the Iowa State Foundation or the American Stroke Association.
