Police arrested a Marion man Wednesday on accusations that he sexually assaulted a woman at knife-point.
Antonio L. Hudson, 31, of 2751 Regal Ct., has been charged with second-degree sexual abuse, first-degree burglary and assault while displaying a dangerous weapon. Officers arrested him around 11 a.m. Wednesday at a residence in the 300 block of 30th St. SE. Hudson got inside the house by breaking a window and reaching through it to unlock the front door, police said. The woman told police she was assaulted repeatedly from 11 p.m. Tuesday to 8:30 a.m. Wednesday. Police said Hudson knew the woman.
The woman suffered superficial cuts to her left arm and a finger during the assault, but did not need medical treatment for those injuries, police said.
Police said Hudson allowed the woman to go to work. After she dropped her children off at a daycare, she reported the incident from her workplace, Hamblin said.
Hudson was arrested and taken to the Linn County Jail, where he was being held on $110,000 cash bond.
