Jeanne Marie Banks, 76, of Cedar Rapids, passed away unexpectedly at her home on June 19, 2016.
Memorial services will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 1, at Cedar Memorial Park Chapel of Memories. Visitation will be one hour before the funeral. Burial follows memorial service at Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery.
Jeanne was born June 3, 1940, to Lois Wheeler in Davenport. She was united in marriage to Kenneth Banks on Sept. 5, 1985, in Cedar Rapids.
She is survived by her loving husband of 31 years, Ken; her three children, Kathy (Randy) Olson, Brian (Mary Svoboda) Perkinson and Debby Perkinson; seven grandchildren, Ariane (Eric) Jensen, Courtney (Sam) Olukiran, Reid Olson, Ben Perkinson, Samara Perkinson, Danté Henry and Mercedes Henry; step-children, Tasha Banks, Tracy Banks and Kelly Banks; and her brother, Gary Goings.
Jeanne was preceded in death by her mother, Lois; stepfather, Larry Wheeler; and her brother, Bobby Cosper.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family.
