Through her 24 years of service in the U.S. Army and decades as a physician, Dr. Mariannette Miller-Meeks knows what it's like to live and work in a 'man's world.” She perseveres, she knows what it's like to be poor and work one's way up to high levels of achievement and success. Dr. Miller-Meeks would be a role model for any woman today, and because of her life experiences, she has the tools she needs to represent Iowa's 2nd District in the U.S. House.
Dr. Miller-Meeks' life is an American success story. She overcame poverty by serving her country for over two decades in a male dominated service branch, she then went on to medical school, became a physician, was appointed the Director of the Iowa Department of Public Health, won a heavily contested state Senate election and is now running for Congress. Mariannette can inspire all women to dream big and achieve their dreams through hard work and dedication.
Please cast your vote for Dr. Mariannette Miller-Meeks on Nov. 3 to represent us in the 2nd U.S. House District.
