Lois Ann Spina, 87, a resident of Living Center East, died there Sunday afternoon, April 8, 2017. Funeral services will be at
11 a.m. Friday at Papich-Kuba Funeral Home East, 1228 Second St. SE, with Pastor Diane Townsley with Asbury United Methodist Church officiating. Burial will follow at Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery. Friends may call from 3 to 7 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
Lois is survived by two sisters, Sharlene Tomash, Cedar Rapids, and Lillian (Richard) Hamlin, Yakima, Wash. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Anna (Prochaska) Spina; and her brother, Ronald Spina.
Lois was born Nov. 18, 1930, in Cedar Rapids, and was a lifelong resident. She graduated from Wilson High School and had worked at Goodwill Industries. Lois was a member of Asbury United Methodist Church and was actively involved in church activities.
Memorial contributions may be given to Asbury United Methodist Church.
