Ida Lee Badding, 86, of St. Joseph, Mo., formerly of Savannah, Mo., died Wednesday, April 11, 2012, at a local health care facility.
She was born July 8, 1925, to Lloyd and Matilda (Donley) Downing in Linn County, Iowa. She married Leonard J. Badding in July 1943. They shared 68 years of marriage. Leonard preceded Ida Lee in death on Oct. 10, 2011.
Mrs. Badding attended First Christian Church in Savannah, Mo. Her family was her greatest joy and she will be forever missed.
She was also preceded in death by her parents, five brothers and three sisters.
Survivors include a daughter, Terrie Smith and husband Ron of Savnnah, Mo.; grandson, Christopher Smith; granddaughter, Monica Smith; great-grandson, Keaton Smith; sister, Dora Mae Vogt; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Care provided by Meierhoffer Funeral Home & Crematory in St. Joseph, Mo.
