Dlouhy, Juanita Frances
Juanita Frances Dlouhy, 84, of Cedar Rapids, died Wednesday, April 6, 2011, at the Dennis and Donna Oldorf Hospice House of Mercy in Hiawatha. Graveside services will be 1 p.m. Friday, April 8, at Czech National Cemetery. Brosh Chapel in Cedar Rapids is in charge of arrangements.
Juanita was born March 11, 1927, in Ely, the daughter of Gilbert and Frances (Dolezal) Hovorka. She married William “Bill” Dlouhy on June 11, 1948, at Hus Memorial Presbyterian Church. She enjoyed traveling, being on the farm near Ely, reading and time spent with family.
Juanita is survived by her husband, Bill, and her son, David (Kerry) Dlouhy, both of Cedar Rapids; and a granddaughter, Amanda Dlouhy of Minneapolis.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
