Harry D. “Duke” Swanson, 83, of Manchester, died Sunday, April 17, 2011, at the Good Neighbor Home. Funeral Service: 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, April 20, at Good Neighbor Home in Manchester with the Rev. Mary Green officiating. Interment: Evergreen Cemetery, Delhi. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today at Leonard-Muller Funeral Home in Manchester and after 9:30 a.m. Wednesday at the Good Neighbor Home.
Survivors include his wife, Velma Swanson of Manchester; three daughters, Barb (Brad) Heathman of Ottawa, Kan., Cathy Kelchen of Manchester, and Donna (Todd) Boss of Manchester; six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and four siblings, Robert (Elvetta) Swanson of Mission, Texas, Jean (Frank) McCusker and Clifford (Ruth) Swanson of Manchester, and Lois (Richard) Morris of Hiawatha.
