Sams, Paula M. (Salome)
Paula M. (Salome) Sams, 78, of Lancaster, Ohio, passed away Feb. 8, 2010, at Grant Medical Center, Columbus, Ohio, following heart surgery.
Surviving are a daughter, Brenda Lee Sams; son, Greg Sams (Cindy); grandchildren, Christopher Sams and Erin Sams; brother, Dr. Richard Salome (Jackie), Normal, Ill.; sisters, Colette Lee (Stuart), Elburn, Ill., and Coleen Salome, Aurora, Ill.; nieces; nephews; and dear friends.
Born Jan. 15, 1932, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, to the late Paul and Ruth (Bricker) Salome, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Bernard R. “Barney” Sams in 1987. A graduate of McKinley High School, Paula worked for Iowa Bell, moving to Columbus in 1953. She managed areas of two pharmacies.
Paula will always be a very special part of our lives.
