Wade, Larry Lee
Larry Lee Wade 70, of Marion, formerly of Avon, Ill., died Aug. 23, 2012, at 8:16 a.m. in Avon.
He was born Dec. 22, 1941, the son of Henry and Alice Mathers Wade. He married Erma Sebree on July 27, 1959, and later married Faye Kinkead in May 1976.
He is survived by his wife, Faye of Marion; his mother, Alice Fidler of Avon; two daughters, Trisha Wade of Galva, Ill., and Heather Wade of Hiawatha; two sons, Timothy Wade of Abingdon, Ill., and Jeffery Wade of Marion; a grandson, Travis Wade of Abingdon; three stepbrothers, Larry Fidler of Manito, Ill., Edward Fidler of Prescott, Ariz., and Richard Fidler of Farmington, Ill.; and two stepsisters, Patricia Leezer of Pekin and Kathleen Fidler of Hanna City.
He was preceded in death by his father.
Larry was a member of the Avon Masonic Lodge and the Abingdon American Legion Post. He enjoyed to sing and especially enjoyed time with family and friends.
Funeral Service will be 1:30 p.m. Monday at Corman Memorial Home in Avon, Ill. Burial will be at Memorial Park Cemetery in Galesburg, Ill., where military services will be accorded at the grave.
Memorials may be made to the Shriners or the American Cancer Society.
