Wells, Sandra Lee (Bean)

Sandra Lee (Bean) Wells, 76, of Cedar Rapids, died Sunday, July 21, 2013, at Mercy Medical Center, Cedar Rapids. Graveside Services: 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, July 24, at Linwood Cemetery, Cedar Rapids. Arrangements provided by Murdoch-Linwood Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Cedar Rapids.

Survivors include her children, Steven (Tammy) McCauley of Cedar Rapids, Dennis (Melinda) Wells of Humble, Texas, Orlan McCauley and Susan Mulholland of Cedar Rapids, Lonnie (Christy) Wells of Pittsburg, Kan., Jackie (Rodney) Johnson of Seminole, Texas, and Richard (Mary) Wells of Center Point; 29 grandchildren; 37 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; her special family friend, Stacey Biebinger; and her precious puppy, Babee.

Sandra was preceded in death by her husband, Jack; her parents; three brothers; and three sisters.

Born May 25, 1937, in Cedar Rapids, Sandra was the daughter of Jay and Lura (Long) Bean. On Oct. 15, 1958, she was united in marriage to Jack Wells. He died Nov. 10, 1999. She was self-employed in the restaurant business, retiring in 1997.
