Kanke, Linda Lee
Linda Lee Kanke, 66, of Marengo, died Wednesday, March 20, 2013, at her home. Funeral Service: 10:30 a.m. Saturday, March 23, at St. John's Lutheran Church, Marengo. Burial: Marengo Cemetery. Visitation: 4 to 7 p.m. Friday at Kloster Funeral Home, Marengo.
A memorial fund has been established.
Linda is survived by her husband, Wayne; her children, Stacy McMann (Travis) and Jock Kanke (Mandi), both of Marengo: 11 grandchildren, Stephanie and Nathan Ballard, Katelin and Andrea Healey, Molly and Macy McMann, Tre and Lorenzo Gonzalez, Sahara, Carli and Hayden Kanke, all of Marengo; her siblings, Sam (Carole) Slaymaker of Marengo, Alice Rohrer (Richard) of Hartwick, Lee (Suni) Slaymaker of Marengo, Don (Shirley) Slaymaker of Marengo and Steve (Jan) Slaymaker of Conroy; and sister-in-law, Gerry Formanek of Marengo.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Ray C. and Violet (Ziegler) Slaymaker; and a brother, Clement Slaymaker in 1996.
