Jerome Lawrence "Jerry" Callan, 81, of Manchester, passed away Thursday, May 24, 2018, at Regional Medical Center in Manchester.
Those left to cherish his memory include his wife, Kathleen Callan of Manchester; his eight children, David (Sherri) Callan of Spring Valley, Ill., Joseph (Diane) Callan of Ottawa, Ill., Karen (Mark) Fischer of Cedar Rapids, Thomas (Elizabeth) Callan and Mary (Shawn) Waterhouse, all of Manchester, Patricia (Timothy) Glass of Delaware, Randall (Carrie) Callan of Central City and Robert Callan of Manchester; 14 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Mass of Christian Burial: 10:30 a.m. Friday, June 1, at St. Mary Catholic Church in Manchester with the Rev. Joseph Schneider officiating. Visitation: 2 to 8 p.m. Thursday, May 31, at Leonard-Muller Funeral Home in Manchester with a 2 p.m. Scripture service. Also, visitation one hour prior to Mass on Friday at the church. Interment with military rites: St. Mary Catholic Cemetery, Manchester.
