Trump wants protection from voters’ will
Terry Moran
Aug. 23, 2020 9:36 am
I voted in every Presidential election, every off year election, most bond issue elections, most primary elections and many school board elections since 1964. I have voted at the polls, early voted at the County Offices and voted through absentee ballots.
Now, President Donald Trump threatens to challenge my vote in November because I signed an absentee ballot request with my voter information filled in by the Linn County Auditor. Clearly, with the support of the Iowa Republican Legislators, he wants to do whatever he can to protect himself from the will of the American people. We have lost thousands of brave soldiers fighting for democracy abroad and he fights to restrict our votes here.
