A Keosauqua man was sentenced to 78 months in prison Thursday after being convicted of possessing child pornography.
Ronald West Bonjour, 72, of Keosauqua, will also be required to spend ten years on supervised release following his incarceration, U.S. Attorney Matthew Whitaker said Friday.
In August 2007, state agents searched Bonjour's home and seized a computer, which was found to contain 60 videos of child pornography. Bonjour pled guilty in the case March 20.
The Iowa Department of Public Safety, Division of Criminal Investigation and the Iowa Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force helped with the investigation.
