Dauenbaugh, Marjorie E.

Marjorie E. Dauenbaugh, 85, of Marion, passed away Sunday, June 9, 2013. Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Thursday, June 13, at Cedar Memorial Park Chapel of Memories, Cedar Rapids. Visitation will be 4 to 6 p.m. Wednesday at Cedar Memorial Park Funeral Home, Cedar Rapids. Interment will be at Campton Cemetery in Lamont following the service.

Marjorie was born in Dundee, Iowa to Harry and Eleanor (Pitman) Rule. She married Sam Dauenbaugh on Aug. 12, 1946, at the Little Brown Church in Nashua. Marjorie taught school for 40 years starting in a rural school in Buchanan County and finishing at Alburnett Community Schools.

Marjorie is survived by her son, Michael; and three grandchildren, Gary and Scott Kreutner and Dondee Corrigan.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and daughter, Sheryll.

Marjorie enjoyed traveling; taking her to every continent except Antarctica. She loved walking at the mall and spending time with family.
