Cal Clark scored a team-high 18 points for Cedar Rapids Prairie last night in a non-conference victory over Muscatine, 58-56, in boys' basketball at Prairie.
Jalen Rima added 13 points for the Hawks, who improved to 2-0.
Joe Wieskamp led all scorers with 23 points for Muscatine in its season opener.
D.M. HOOVER 55, C.R. KENNEDY 49
- Chris King drained four 3-pointers en route to a game-high 21 points to lead Des Moines Hoover (3-0) in a non-conference game at Cedar Rapids.
Zach Daniels scored 14 points to pace the offense for Kennedy (1-1).
Brendon Manning added 13 points for the Cougars, while Drake Brewster chipped in 10.
LINN-MAR 74, BETTENDORF 48
- Nic Uhlir and Jordan Bohannon powered the Lions to a victory at home with 24 and 20 points, respectively, after the Lions trailed 31-23 at halftime.
Trevor Noble led Linn-Mar with 13 rebounds.
