Baumgartner, Tanner Alan
Tanner Alan Baumgartner, 14, joined his mother with the Lord on Tuesday, March 12, 2013. Funeral Services: 10:30 a.m. Saturday, March 16, at Lutheran Church of the Resurrection in Marion by Pastor Blair A'Hearn. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday at Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Center in Marion.
Survivors include his grandmother, Jackie Sanders of Marion; uncles and aunts, Bob (Kim) Sanders of Marion, Ron (Christina) Sanders of Virginia Beach, Va., and Tim (Devina) Sanders of England; and his cousins, Jason, Jordan, Nick, Kailie and Joshua.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Michele Baumgartner.
Tanner was born March 20, 1998, in Dunedin, Fla. He was a freshman at Linn-Mar High School. Tanner enjoyed basketball, football and weightlifting. He was artistic, very social and loved being with his friends. Tanner was a member of Lutheran Church of the Resurrection.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established in Tanner's memory.
