Upah, Bernard L.
Bernard L. Upah, 87, of Belle Plaine, died Saturday, Aug. 24, 2013, at the Belle Plaine Nursing and Rehab Center. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 28, at the Hrabak Funeral Home with Deacon Joe Behounek presiding and with Military Rites. Inurnment will be in National Cemetery, Vining, at a later date. Visitation will be 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
He is survived by his wife, Carol; sons, Kevin (Mona) Upah of Des Moines and David (Kannie) Upah and Randy (Kimmy) Upah, both of Belle Plaine; brother, Robert (Betty) Upah of Belle Plaine; sisters, Amelia (Charles) Gearhart and Phylis (Tom) Hoffman of Cedar Rapids and Mary Juanetta Meager of Littleton, Colo.; also by eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
