Butterbaugh, Lea Anne
Lea Anne Butterbaugh, 47, of Iowa City, died suddenly Monday, April 11, 2011.
Memorial services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday at Gay & Ciha Funeral and Cremation Service in Iowa City. In lieu of flowers a memorial fund has been established in Lea Anne's memory. Online condolences may be sent for her family through the web at .
Lea Anne was born March 24, 1964, in Washington, Iowa, the daughter of Leslie W. and Mary E. (Tripses) Butterbaugh. Lea Anne had been driving a truck for many years, something she loved doing. Most recently she had driven for WestWind Logistics in Randall, Iowa. In addition to her love of driving, she loved her animals, motorcycles, working on her vehicles or bikes and, of course, her two daughters!
Her family includes her daughters, Amanda Holderness (Chad Griffin) of Riverside and Tavia Holderness of Iowa City; sons, Mike Jones of Parnell and Jeremy Frantz of North Liberty; her mother, Mary Hiller of Fairbanks, Alaska; her father, Les Butterbaugh (Jo Quinlan) of Cedar Rapids; three grandchildren, Raven, Owen, and Harley Marie; and a host of other family members and friends.
