Robb "Robby" Alan Hall, 57, of Cedar Rapids, died Wednesday, Jan. 8, 2014, at Crestview Acres Nursing Home in Marion.
A celebration of life service will be 11 a.m. Monday, Jan. 13, at the Apostolic Assembly of Anamosa (Hwy 151, five miles south of Anamosa). A private family inurn-ment will be at a later date. The family wishes everyone to dress casually and come celebrate Robb's life.
Robby was born April 9, 1956, in Cedar Rapids, the son of Charles and Helen (Wacker) Hall. He attended Kennedy High School. He worked in the construction trade for over 37 years.
Robb loved anything to do with the outdoors, from trapping to fishing to hunting. He was devoted to his grandsons.
Robby is survived by his son, Matthew (Erin) Hall; four grandsons, Aydin and Alec Perez and Dallas and Camron Hall, all of Cedar Rapids; sisters, Susan
(Jerry) Nowadzky of Davenport and Carla (Bret) Vesey of Cedar Rapids; his father and stepmother, Charles and Leona Hall of Norway; nephews, Spencer (Judy) Nowadzky of Marion, Sam Nowadzky of Oak Park, Ill., Mic Vesey of Cedar Rapids; two nieces, Jessie (Brian) Dirks of Monticello and Miranda Vesey (Ryan Canfield) of Waterloo; and his ex-wife, Debbie Sims.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Helen; and grandparents, Donald John and Anna Amelia (Moore) Hall and Erwin Otto and Cecelia Barbara (Smith) Wacker.
Memorials may be directed to the family.
