Langlas, Glen W.
Glen W. Langlas, 95, of Williamsburg, died Tuesday, July 30, 2013, at Highland Ridge Care Center in Williamsburg. Memorial Service: 11 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 6, at First Presbyterian Church, Williamsburg, with the Rev. Kip Murphy officiating. VFW services will follow at the church. Inurnment will be at a later date. The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday, Aug. 5, at Kloster Funeral Home, Marengo.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be contributed to First Presbyterian Church or Highland Ridge in Williamsburg.
Glen is survived by his wife, Evelyn; a niece, Margaret Stein of Chicago; a nephew, Bill Schmidt of Indialantic, Fla.; and stepchildren, Don O'Brien (Cathy) of Ankeny, Mike O'Brien (Mic) of Marion, Dennis O'Brien (Diane) of Dublin, Ohio, Lois Payment (Gary) of Coon Rapids, Minn., and Barb Kimm (Joel) of Norway, Iowa.
He was preceded in death by his parents, William Charles and Ella Wiese Langlas; and his sister, Marian Schmidt.
