Daniel L. Wallace, 66, of Cedar Rapids, died Thursday, Oct. 19, 2017, at St. Luke's Hospital in Cedar Rapids. A visitation will be at 1 p.m. Monday, Oct. 23, at Cedar Memorial Park Funeral Home. A graveside service will immediately follow at 2 p.m. in the Garden of Eternal Love at Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery.
Daniel was born Oct. 3, 1951, to Richard and Maureen (Wennermark) Wallace, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. He attended Kennedy High School in Cedar Rapids. After high school, he attended Pine Ridge Job Corps C.C.C. in Chadron, Neb.
Dan was a fan of the Iowa Hawkeyes, Chicago Cubs and Green Bay Packers. He had a great love for music, and it was very much a part of his life.
Left to cherish Daniel's memories are his brothers, David and Steve; his sister, Julie Zimmerman; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers, Larry and Mike Wallace.
The family suggests memorial contributions be directed to The Salvation Army.
