Kearney, Daniel
Daniel Kearney, 52, of Cedar Rapids, died Thursday, Aug. 23, 2012, at Mercy Medical Center, Cedar Rapids. Services: 4 p.m. Monday, Aug. 27, at the Springs of Life Foursquare Church, Cedar Rapids, by Pastor Don Jackson. Family will greet friends from 3 to 4 p.m. before the services. Arrangements by Murdoch-Linwood Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Cedar Rapids.
Survivors include his mother, Cindy Kearney of Toledo; brothers, Jim (Donna) Kearney of Yankton, S.D., and Patrick Kearney of Grundy Center; sister, Judy (Tim) Rebik of Marshalltown; half brothers, Lonnie and Terry; half sister, Jody; former wife, Sheri Kearney; stepdaughter, Nikki; and special friend, Chris.
He was preceded in death by his father; grandparents; and nephew, Dwayne Kearney.
Daniel was born Dec. 24, 1959, son of Daniel and Cynthia (Yilek) Kearney. He grew up in the Toledo area. Daniel worked at Breeden Tree Service.
