Coffman, Benjamin David
Benjamin David Coffman, 32, of Williamsburg, died Sunday, Aug. 28, 2011, as the result of a motorcycle accident near Oskaloosa. A graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 1, at the Oak Hill Cemetery, Williamsburg. Pastor Kirk Statler will officiate. Visitation will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at the Powell Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Williamsburg.
A general memorial fund has been established.

Benjamin David Coffman was born April 13, 1979, in Iowa City, Iowa, the son of David Joe and Dawn Lynette (Tandy) Coffman. He was a 1997 graduate of Williamsburg High School and later from Hamilton Business College. He owned and operated Coffman Painting, Williamsburg. He was a life long resident of the Williamsburg community. He enjoyed the outdoors, hunting, fishing, music, dancing, riding his motorcycle and skiing in Colorado with his family and friends. He was an avid Hawkeyes and Cubs fan and a devoted grandson and uncle. He was a gentle soul with a loving heart.
Ben is survived by his parents, Dave and Dawn Coffman of Williamsburg; a sister, Lindsay and brother-in-law, Rich Foster of Ankeny; a nephew and niece, Charlie and Cora Foster; his grandparents, Larry and Bert Coffman and Roger and Corrine Tandy, all of Williamsburg; and his uncles and their families, Mike and Val Coffman of Belle Plaine, and Tom Coffman of Milton, Wis.
