Emma June Miller, 88 of Cedar Rapids, formerly of Coggon and Marion, died Saturday, Nov. 10, 2018, at the Northbrook Manor Care Center. Funeral services at 1 p.m. on Thursday, at the Cedar Memorial Park Chapel of Memories. Burial at the Coggon Cemetery. There will be a visitation on Wednesday from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Cedar Memorial Park Funeral Home.
Survivors include two sons, Charlie (Rebecca), and Jimmy (friend Molly) all of Cedar Rapids; a daughter, Patsy Camp of Mount Vernon, Ill., and a sister, Frieda Carrothers of Alburnett. She also is survived by seven grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Charlie; a sister, Jackie Jones; and two brothers, Aubrey Hendrix and Ralph Snodgrass.
June was born on July 9, 1930, in Leachville, Ark., and married Charles Junior Miller there on June 22, 1948. Charlie passed away in 2017.
June was a beautician and operated June's Beauty Shop in Coggon for many years and most recently was the owner of June's Beauty Nook in Marion.
June was a member of Eastern Star. She enjoyed knitting, crocheting and was a talented painter. June will be forever remembered as a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend whose memory will be cherished by all who knew and loved her.
