Doris Lynn Westerholm,
81, of Cedar Rapids, passed away Monday, Jan. 28, 2019, at St Luke's Hospital. A memorial will be scheduled
at a later date.
Survivors include her husband, Harlen of Cedar Rapids; daughter, Julie Gordon of Denver, Colo.; son, David of Cedar Rapids; and a granddaughter, Kirsten Guffey of Dallas, Texas.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Doris Freytag; a sister, Donna Blake; and a brother, Jack Freytag.
Doris was born Nov. 3, 1937, in Cedar Rapids. She received her education from Franklin High School. She lived most of life in Cedar Rapids and worked as a bookkeeper at Midwest Metal. She loved going shopping with her daughter, Julie, and enjoyed country music. Doris loved to laugh and enjoyed spending time with her family.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be given to the Parkinson's Foundation.
