Please, people, stop using 'B1G' in place of 'Big Ten'

Just because the Big Ten Conference has a logo that uses "B1G" doesn't mean you have to use it. Yet, many of you have latched on to it like it's a precious child.
Why? B1G doesn't mean anything. The Big Ten is big? Yeah, you know, it just might be. So use the letter 'I' instead of the number "1." Stop promoting the mangling of the language, you conference with 11 members in the prestigious Association of American Universities.
Beyond the literacy factor, what's troubling is that the league has decreed something and the people are following it like lemmings. By the end of the season, will you have embraced the "Leaders" and "Legends" division names for football? If you do, then you've let them win. And once you let them win, you can't imagine the horrors they'll try to foist upon you next.
That also goes for "B1G." If you blindly accept and use that, you're playing right into their hands. They'll control your minds. They'll own your souls.
I'm just trying to help here.
