DAWSON BROWN
Cedar Rapids
Dawson Brown, 20, of Cedar Rapids, passed away Sunday, May 6, 2018, at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics surrounded by his loving family and friends. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, May 9, at Cedar Memorial Park Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, May 10, at First United Methodist Church of Marion.
Dawson was born March 15, 1998, the son of Tim and Sue (Eggen) Brown. He graduated from Linn-Mar High School in 2017. His passion was playing his drums loudly and motorcycle rides. He loved pulling pranks and making everyone around him laugh. But most of all, he loved spending time with his family and friends.
Left to cherish Dawson's memories are his parents, Tim and Sue; siblings Lindsay, Sydney and Brycen; paternal grandparents, Willis and Beverly Brown of Middletown; maternal grandfather, Robert Eggen of McGregor; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
A special thanks to all his friends for their enduring support.
Dawson was a proud participant in the Iowa Donor Network.
A memorial fund has been established. Online condolences may be directed to the family at www.cedarmemorial.com under Obituaries.
