Arnold “Arnie” L. Higgins, 73, died Tuesday, Jan. 12, 2010, at Buchanan County Health Care Center in Independence from a sudden illness. Services: 11 a.m. Saturday at Church of Christ United, Winthrop. Inurnment: Wilson Cemetery, east of Independence. Visitation: 2 to 7:30 p.m. today at Fawcett Funeral Home in Winthrop and until service time Saturday at the church.
He is survived by his wife, Nancy “Nan” Higgins of Winthrop; his two daughters, Julie (Albert) Althaus of Winthrop and Kris (Craig) Wilgenbusch of Masonville; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; one brother and three sisters.
