Ann Louise Bendon, 78, of Cedar Rapids, died Thursday, April 12, 2018, at her home. Services: 10 a.m. Monday at Teahen Funeral Home by Michelle Tressel. Burial: Cedar Memorial Cemetery. Friends may visit with the family 3 to 7 p.m. on Sunday and after 9 a.m. Monday at Teahen Funeral Home.

Ann was born on April 17, 1939, in Cedar Rapids, the daughter of Charles and Margaret Gould, and graduated from Roosevelt High School. On May 28, 1973, she married James Bendon in Iowa City. Ann worked at Rockwell Collins for 13 years and Dearborn Brass for 12 years. She was a member of St. Jude Catholic Church and had a strong faith in God.
Ann loved to laugh and was a hard worker. She liked being outdoors gardening, planting flowers and trees, and watching them grow. Ann was an animal lover and was especially fond of her poodle Dani and the many cats she adopted. She also enjoyed decorating her home for Christmas. Most of all, Ann enjoyed being with her family and adored her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
