Verona I. Ruiz, 81, of Coralville, died Thursday, March 29, 2012, surrounded by her family, at the home of her daughter in Cedar Rapids. Services celebrating Verona's life will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, April 2, at Gay & Ciha Funeral and Cremation Service in Iowa City. There will be a time of visitation one hour before the services, and a time of fellowship and refreshments following the services at the funeral home.
A memorial fund has been established in Verona's memory.
