Western Iowa couple found dead at bottom of well

Authorities are investigating the deaths of a man and a woman who were found in a water well south of Coon Rapids.
A 911 caller reported a man had fallen into a well and was unresponsive just before 8:30 p.m. Saturday.
When officers arrived they found the man and woman unresponsive in a 6-foot-deep well across the road from their home.
The man was pronounced dead at St. Anthony Regional Hospital. The woman was airlifted to a Des Moines hospital and later died.
Names of the victims were not released.
Guthrie County Sheriff Marty Arganbright says authorities don't know how the couple died.
