Lois M. Weiss, 78, of Victor, died Thursday, Oct. 20, 2016, at the Dennis and Donna Oldorf Hospice House of Mercy in Hiawatha.
A funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Monday, Oct. 24, at St. John's Lutheran Church in rural Victor. Interment will be at St. John's Lutheran Cemetery, rural Victor. Visitation will begin at 1 p.m. Sunday at Smith Funeral Home in Victor and her family will greet friends from 3 to 5 p.m.
Memorials may be designated to St. John's Lutheran Church and mailed in care of Smith Funeral Home, P.O. Box 485, Victor, IA 52347.

Lois is survived by her husband of 54 years, Maynard Weiss of Victor; daughter, Bev (Mark) Roberts of Chandler, Ariz.; son, Craig Weiss of Williamsburg; four grandchildren, Dustin Gensley, Emily Szajda, Sydney Martin and Kassidy Martin; two great-grandchildren, Ayden Gensley and Chase Coufal; son-in-law, Ben Martin of San Antonio, Texas; and her special friends, Angie (Greg) Thompson of Malcom.
She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Pam Martin, in 2014; and siblings, Don Kiesewetter and Floyd McDaniel.
