Ann Bever Smith, 67, of Marion, died Tuesday, April 26, 2016, at the Dennis and Donna Oldorf Hospice House in Hiawatha. A Celebration of Life will be held from 4 to 6 p.m. Friday, April 29, at Cedar Memorial Funeral Home.
Ann was born Dec. 19, 1948, the daughter of James D. and Audrey (Jones) Bever in Cedar Rapids. She married Keith Smith on June 27, 1992. He passed away April 9, 2016. Ann worked for many different retail stores throughout her life. In her spare time, she enjoyed knitting and needlework. Ann had a very close circle of friends with whom she would get together for birthday lunches. They will all be missed greatly. Another close companion of hers was her dog, Lilly.
Survivors include her two brothers, Tony (Karlett) Bever of Marion and Tom (Linda) Bever of Marion; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband and parents.
