Julie June Smith, 53, of
Cedar Rapids, died suddenly at her Cedar Rapids home. She was the daughter of Donna (Fleming) and the late Ronald Smith. Visitation will be Saturday, Feb. 1, from 1 to 3 p.m. at Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Center in
Marion. Graveside services will be at a later date.
She is survived by sisters, Jennifer Smith and Jill (Craig) Kimpston; nephews, Hunter and Noah; niece, Skylar; extended family and many friends.
She was preceded in death by her father, and two brothers, Jeffrey and Jay.
Julie was born June 17, 1960, and grew up in Coggon, where she graduated from North Linn High School. She was employed by Rockwell Collins at the time of her death.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established in Julie's memory.
