Smith, Alice Mae
Alice Mae Smith, 66, formerly of Delhi, died Thursday, May 6, 2010, at the Dennis and Donna Oldorf Hospice House of Mercy in Hiawatha. Funeral services for Alice will be at 11 a.m. Monday, May 10, at Bohnenkamp-Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Manchester. Family will greet friends from 4 to 7 p.m. Sunday and one hour before services Monday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Delhi.
Alice is survived by one son, Terry (Donna) Smith of Belle Plaine; three grandchildren, Sonny, Jessica and T.J. Smith; siblings, Shirley (Lew) Goranson of Greeley, Norma (Jerry) George of Aztec, N.M., Doris Lei of Manchester and Kenneth (Joyce) Edmonds of Manchester; one sister-in-law, Joan Edmonds; several nieces and nephews; and special friends, Norma, Barb, Galena, Lisa and Que.
Alice was preceded in death by her parents, Floyd and Dorothy Edmonds; a brother, Harold Edmonds; and a brother-in-law, Art Lei.
