Donna Lee Smith, 62, of Edgewood, passed away after a courageous five-year battle with cancer with her husband by her side on Wednesday, June 22, 2016, at the Dennis and Donna Oldorf Hospice House of Mercy in Hiawatha.
Survivors include her husband of 40 years, Alfred Smith of Edgewood; her two children, Heather (Michael) Dommer of Cedar Rapids and Ryan (Nicole) Smith of Johnston; three grandchildren, Carson and Grace Dommer and Riley Smith; and her mother, Dorothy Hartke of Colesburg.

Funeral service: 10:30 a.m. Friday, June 24, at Trinity United Methodist Church in Edgewood with Pastor Mike Jackson. Visitation: 3 to 7 p.m. Thursday, June 23, at Leonard-Muller Funeral Home in Edgewood. Friends may also call one hour before the service Friday at the church. Interment: Cass Township Cemetery, Strawberry Point.
