Jeffrey Thomas Murdock, 56, of Cedar Rapids, died unexpectedly Sunday, May 31, 2015, at Mercy Medical Center. A celebration of life will be Sunday from 1 to 4 p.m. at The Union Station, 1724 16th Ave. SW. Teahen

Jeffrey was born March 19, 1959, in Cedar Rapids, the son of James and Sharon Owen Murdock.
Jeffrey was a loving father, son, brother and grandfather.
He worked for 25 years in the casino industry in Las Vegas. He enjoyed fishing and golfing.
He will be greatly missed by his family, many friends, and his dog, Shadow.
