Mary Nell Geiser, 89, of Cedar Rapids, went home to her Lord on Friday, Sept. 23, 2016, at Northbrook Manor Care Center in Cedar Rapids.
Survivors include her son, Dan Geiser, and his wife, Debra, of Cedar Rapids, and grandson Tristan Geiser, of Iowa City.
Mary Nell Neidlinger was born May 16, 1927, in Jasonville, Ind. She grew up in Center Point, Ind., graduated from Indiana State Teachers College in 1949, and was an elementary teacher. She married Euhel Geiser on July 16, 1949. They were partners, best friends and constant companions until his death in 1997.
Mary Nell was preceded in death by her husband, Euhel, and daughter, Maralee.
Mary Nell was a gracious and loving woman, who always put others before herself. She touched many lives with her sweetness, kindness and generosity.
Services will be 11 a.m. Friday, Sept. 30, at Cedar Rapids Alliance Church.
