Carmody, Christine Marie

Christine Marie Carmody, 51, of Rock Island, died Monday, Dec. 28, 2009, at University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City. Memorial services will be 10 a.m. (CST) Dec. 31, at St. Anthony's Catholic Church, 324 N. Main St., Davenport.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made in her memory to the Christine M. Carmody Memorial Fund, 4400 12th St., Rock Island, IL 61201.

Her family includes her three children, Stephen Eginoire of Durango, Colo., Shannon Carmody of Lanesboro, Minn., and Tara Carmody of Kurgan, Russia; father and his wife, Dr. Thomas and Pamela Bulat of Bettendorf; sisters, Kathy Brown (Jamie) of Iowa City and Anne Schaefer (George) of Kalona; brothers, Thomas Bulat Jr. (Suzanne) of East Rutherford, N.J., Carl Bulat (Denise) of Riverdale, Iowa, and John Bulat (Shelly) of Victoria, Minn.; nine nieces and nephews; and her feline friend, Boo.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Marilyn Bulat.

Gay & Ciha Funeral and Cremation Service of Iowa City is assisting Chris's family at this time.

The family will receive friends after the service at Black Hawk Park Pavilion, Rock Island, Ill.
