Gloria A. (Phillips) Wilson,
82, of Milwaukee, Wis., previously of Cedar Rapids, passed away Jan. 8, 2017, after an extended illness.
As she requested, there were no services.
Gloria was born July 12, 1934, in Cedar Rapids to Ishmael and Hazle Phillips.
Survivors include her children, Ricky L. Brown of Cedar Rapids, Steven (Evelyn) Brown of Milwaukee, Stephany Brown of Wichita, Kan., and Ernest Brewster of Des Moines; six grandchildren, Curtis, Carlos, Tremain, Syretta and Sierra Brown of Milwaukee and Antonia Venzen of Wichita, Kan.; a brother, James (Linda) Phillips of Cheyenne, Wyo.; a sister, Nedra J. Juenger of Cedar Rapids; as well as many nephews, nieces and cousins.
Gloria was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Mary Katheryn and Norma Mae; and one brother, Ishmael Jr.
Gloria was a wonderful mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She will most certainly be greatly missed by all who loved her.
