Letter: Give Donald Trump a chance

Paul Schroedermeier forgot that it was the 'village peasants” who rose up and got rid of Hillary Clinton ('Reader: GOP has created a monster,” Dec. 3).
Likely most Americans thought we had, in Clinton's words, a deplorable pair of candidates. Liberals on the coasts found that the 'metaphoric torches and pitchforks” arrived on Election Day.
Give Trump a chance before you come for him. And remember the Dems created a lot of laws and the 'nuclear option” and will have to live with the rules they sowed. The Republicans won big time and probably expect a little get even time.
