BRUCE ALLEN WEEKS Cedar Rapids Bruce Allen Weeks passed away Saturday, Jan. 27, 2018. A celebration of life will be held at Salem United Methodist Church, 3715 33rd Ave. SW, Cedar Rapids, on Saturday, Feb. 10. A visitation will be held from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. followed by the service by Chaplain Deb Black. Bruce was born Dec. 23, 1941, in Ionia, Mich. He moved to Cedar Rapids from Michigan and worked at Goss Graphics Systems for 35 years until they closed. He was a hard worker and a dedicated husband and father. Bruce loved fishing, playing cards, telling jokes and model railroading. Survivors include his beloved wife of 55 years, Trina; his children, Karen Sue Stout (Doug), David Weeks, Terry Weeks (Charlotte) and Shawn Weeks (Renae); his five grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren. Also surviving are his sisters, Sharon Boerma of Michigan, half-brothers, Charlie Weeks, Clifford Weeks, half-sister Charlotte Weeks of Michigan and Theresa Weeks of Wyoming; and many nieces and nephews.
