Bruce Penningroth
BRUCE PENNINGROTH Tipton Bruce Penningroth, 65, of Tipton, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family after a long illness on Sunday, Feb. 22, 2015. Survivors include his wife, Beverly Penningroth of Tipton; his daughters, Kim (Terry) Mente and Angie (Jim) Knox, both of Tipton; his grandchildren, Ashley, Austin, Alyssa and Jaxson; his sister, Lynn (Craig) Emrich of Marion; his mother, Jean Penningroth of Tipton; and his cat, Simba. Bruce was born on Sept. 29, 1949, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. On May 20, 1972, he was united in marriage to Bev Pruess in Clarence, Iowa. Bruce was a Navy Vietnam veteran. He loved being with his grandchildren. He also enjoyed movies, traveling, boating and watching wildlife. Per Bruce's wishes, there will be no public service or visitation.
