Hunt, Marie
Marie Hunt, 97, of Manchester, died Saturday, Sept. 15, 2012, at the Good Neighbor Home in Manchester. Funeral Services will be at 11 a.m., Wednesday, Sept. 19, at the Clifton-Murdoch Funeral Home and Cremation Services in Earlville by the Rev. Jill Mack. Visitation will be 10 to 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, before the service. Burial will be at the Fairview Cemetery in Earlville.
Marie was born April 10, 1915, in Earlville, the daughter of Lester and Beulah (Zeitler) Hunt. She graduated from Earlville High School and attended two years at Bayless Business College. Marie was an administrative secretary for Iowa Electric Light & Power in Manchester for 31 years, retiring in 1979.
Camp Courageous was very dear to her heart.
Marie is survived by a nephew, Gerald “Bud” Hunt Jr. of Savannah, Ga.
Marie was preceded in death by her parents, Lester and Beulah Hunt; and two brothers, Donald and Gerald Hunt.
