Hunt, Robert 'Bob'
Robert “Bob” Hunt, 89, died Sunday, Sept. 22, 2013, at the Jones Regional Medical Center, Anamosa, following an extended illness. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 25, at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Monticello, with interment in the Oakwood Cemetery. The Rev Paul Baldwin will officiate at the services. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the Goettsch Funeral Home, Monticello, where a parish rosary and vigil service will begin at 4 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to a children's charity of choice.
Survivors include his wife, Kathleen; three children, Larry (Karen) Hunt, Alvarado, Texas, Jean Ann (Bud) Holub, Monticello and Bill (Marie) Hunt, Hopkinton; eight grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; two sisters, LaVonne Callahan, Cascade and Rachel (Donnie) Budden, Petersburg; and four brothers, Ralph (Gertie) Hunt, Cascade, Virgil (Carolyn) Hunt, Edgewood, Dave (Rita) Hunt, Peosta and Norbert (Josephine) Hunt, Monticello.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Bud; and a sister, Isabelle.
