Larry William Hunt, 73, of Tipton, entered eternal rest on Sept. 20, 2015. Memorial services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 23, at Fry Funeral Home, Tipton. Visitation will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 22, at the funeral home. Burial will be held at Stanwood city cemetery.
A memorial fund has been established.

Larry was born Dec. 5, 1941, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, the son of Arthur and Martha (Suiter) Hunt. He graduated from Stanwood High School. Larry was a member of the Iowa chapter of the AARV and a proud sponsor of Pheasants Forever. Larry was united in marriage to Gloria (Wolfe) Hunt in September 1960. For the past 20 years, Larry had been the owner of Hunt's Cedar River Campground. He loved the outdoors, horses, his Green Bay Packers and pulling a good prank on friends and family. Larry was a devoted, loving family man and will be greatly missed but never forgotten.
Larry is survived by his wife, Gloria Hunt of Tipton; daughter, Shelly (Robert) Meineke of Marengo; sons, Mark (Katy) Hunt of Tipton, Marty Hunt of Ocoee, Fla., and Larry (Lori) Hunt of Dike; sisters, Evelyn East of Brooklyn, Mary Cox of Iowa and Myrna Remington of Wisconsin; brother, Joe (Sally) Hunt of Mechanicsville; seven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and mother-in-law, Dorothy Wolfe of Stanwood.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Art and Martha Hunt; father-in-law, Edward Wolfe; and grandson, Richard Meineke.
