Timothy G. Duffy 69, of Cedar Rapids, passed away Tuesday, July 12, 2016. Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday, July 16, at Cedar Memorial Park Chapel of Memories. Family will be available to greet friends starting at 9 a.m. Saturday.
Tim was born Sept. 8, 1946, the son of LaVerne and Doralene (Kahrs) Duffy. Tim graduated with a bachelor's degree in accounting from UNI and worked at Rockwell Collins for 35 years. Tim married Sandii Adams on June 22, 1968; they later were divorced.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Brian Duffy; brother-in-law, Tom Walding; and nephew, Sgt. Justin J. Duffy in Operation Iraqi Freedom.
Survivors include children, Tasha (Jeremy) Bechen of Marion and Shaene (Miranda) Duffy of Walker; grandchildren, Parker, Mason, Chloe and Amelie and Ashlin; brother, Dennis (Ann) Duffy of California; sister, Kathy Walding of Nebraska; sister-in-law, Sharon (John) Willenborg of southern California; brother, Joe (Jan) Duffy of Nebraska; brother, Chris (Pat) Duffy of Minnesota; brother, Terry (Sandy) Duffy of Minnesota; brother, Pat (Joyce) Duffy of Wisconsin; sister, Michele (Mike) George of Iowa; sister, Ann (Charles) Kuhlman of Iowa; many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews; and very good friends, Charlie (Michele) DeBlieck.
A memorial fund has been established in Timothy's name.
