Thanks to customer who paid it forward

At 12:45 p.m. Jan. 21, I was the recipient of a “pay it forward” at Wendy's on 33rd Avenue SW, Cedar Rapids.
As I pulled up to the drive-through window to pay for my meal, the two sweet female employees happily announced that the person ahead of me had paid for my meal.
What a wonderful surprise! I hope you saw me wave thank you to whoever you are in the black pickup.
Thank you for the kind gesture, thank you for making three ladies smile and, yes, I will be sure to “pay it forward” one of these days.
